Climbing trees
Caleb and I scaled the birch tree and took turns snapping pics of each other. He's quite the photographer.
Somewhere over the rainbow
We witnessed the most spectacular rainbow at my parents house. I have never seen a rainbow this exuberant before. The pictures don't do it justice but they are still beautiful.
Airshow
Dave took Caleb to an airshow because Caleb LOVES airplanes. That's an understatement. He asks all the time to go to the airport to watch big airplanes. Needless to say he had a great time at the airshow and daddy even bought him a hat...one of his other favs.

Helmet
We had a follow up helmet appointment for Zoe today and her head is looking great!! They are so impressed with the changes that they predict she has less than 2 months left. Yay! She doesn't mind it at all which is such a blessing from God. We are actually thankful she has had this helmet because she's fallen off a few things, her brother has hit her in the head with a toy hammer and she's fallen backwards a couple times. Just toughening her up is all...to prepare her for later years with Caleb. I'm pretty sure Caleb will have the no mercy approach with her in life.
In the meantime this girl is rockin' her helmet.
Safety First
Got my hard hat on drivin' to work. Our little construction worker.
He's also quite the builder (ignore the shirt daddy).
Red, white, blue
I didn't write a single post in July and even though this is a month and a half late the pic is post worthy. I don't have many pics of the four of us so I wanted to make sure I didn't forget this one. We are so blessed to live in this country.

Brotherly/Sisterly Love
I love watching Caleb and Zoe interact. Even though they are at stages where they can't really play together it will be exciting to see when they do get to that age. Exciting?!? Hopefully, as I've already heard these words come out of Caleb's mouth "No Zoe, that's mine". I'm sure there's more to come of that in the near future. In the meantime, Caleb is so great at making Zoe giggle and I just L.O.V.E it! Check out these two kids in the two videos and pics below.
Basketball player
I asked Caleb the other day "Caleb, are you going to be a singer, an artist, an architect or basketball player"? He said "I'm going to be a basketball player with daddy". They will definitely play a lot of basketball together in their lifetime.

Daddy/Son
These two have a special bond. If Caleb gets hurt, he doesn't want mommy, he wants his daddy every time. He's definitely a daddy's boy and it's adorable! Although it would be nice if he wanted his mommy every once in awhile. *wink*
I gotta go potty!
We were in the the middle of rush hour and Caleb yells from the back seat "I got to go potty"! We were on I-94 and I think the next exit was Dale Street. We got off on the exit but at this point Caleb had already been holding it for quite a while so our best option was the parking lot of an apartment complex. Dave quickly unbuckled caleb from his car seat and pulled him out to go potty in the grass. He had stage fright but he finally got it out. Onlookers probably wondered what we were doing to our toddler.
Couple weeks ago a similar situation happened on I-35 as we were heading up to Grantsburg. We pulled off on an exit was nothing in sight so Caleb took a tinkle on the offramp. A car pulled up and asked if we needed help, we smiled and replied "no our two-year-old is just going potty". Lol! Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Six, Seven, Eight
The reality of two kids...or poor time management?!? I know, I know, I'm playing catch up here.
Zoe!! You are so precious and I can't even explain how much I love you!! Tonight as I rocked you to sleep I thanked God that he gave you to us. You bring out the joy in everyone with your infectious smile and giggles. I had tears in my eyes as your hands clenched your pink blanket that you love...the very first thing I bought you as soon as I found out I was having a girl. You have my heart forever. I love you Zoe!! Happy 6, 7 and 8 months!
You sit up, roll all over the place, eat solids from grandma's garden, love when I sing the fishy song, talk the cutest jibber jabber and smile and giggle a lot! Just after 6 months you got a helmet to help fix a flat spot on your head. I had no doubt that you would make that helmet look so stinkin cute.
Photo shoot
Dave always has the best/funniest photo shoots of the kidlets. I have laughed at this picture numerous times.
